Technical Highlights

Advanced TBM Technology

Utilizing two 7.0-meter diameter Earth Pressure Balance (EPB) tunnel boring machines specifically designed for New York's complex geology.

125th Street station will be excavated 140 feet below street level, one of the deepest in the system, using sequential excavation method.
